Welcome to Royal Scottish Country Dance Society, Branch Windsor Ontario Canada
Classes are held on Wednesdays from 8pm-10pm beginning in September though to May at Mackenzie Hall 3277 Sandwich Street in Windsor Ontario.
The "Ballroom Dancing" of Scotland is a social dance but you don't need a partner and you don't even need to be Scottish! Scottish Country dancing is suitable for all ages.
We have open nights at our 1st class in September and our 1st class in January to come and check it out free of charge and see if you would like to join our branch. We have one hour classes for beginners and advanced dancers then a one hour social dance for all our dancers to participate.
Please note that classes for Wednesday May 5th, 2010 are being held at Bedford United Church on sandwich Street, parking is located in the rear of the church and the entrance is through the upper stage door, please be careful on the stairs.
Annual General Meeting to be held Wednesday, May 12th, 2010 promptly at 7pm at Mackenzie Hall. All memebers are asked to please try to attend.
Wednesday May 26th is Request Night and our last evening session of the year! Hard to believe another year has flown by so quickly! It is 8-10pm at Mackenzie all, make sure to make your requests early!
Our End of Season Annual Potluck dinner dance is Saturday May 29th, the Dance Briefs are now posted under the Events tab with all the details on what to bring. Hope to see you there for teh end of our 2010 season!
